Prosthodontic Treatment of Partially Edentulous Patient Using Anterior Maxillary SegmentalOsteotomy : A Case Report

Abstract
|

|
Twenty seven-year old femals patient was referred by local dentist for preprosthodontic surgery. At initial
oral exam, multiple teeth missing, severe anterior deep bite, and vertical space deficiency of
edentulous area were observed. In this situation, universal prosthodontic treatment was impossivle.
We performed the anterior segmental and midline osteotomy of maxilla for the improvement of
deep bite, formation of vertical space and arch rearrangement. One month postoperatively,
prosthodontic treatment was carried out successfully.
